Ships at Norfolk VA

I wanted to dedicate this blog to the Shipyards at Norfolk.  With Veterans Day just a few days off I will express my gratitude to all those in the military that have provided this great country for us.

I don’t know much about ships but here are some pictures we took while traveling past the Norfolk Shipyards.

I can’t tell the difference from one ship to the next but they sure are awesome in all there grandeur.  If anyone can help with identities I would appreciate that.

The one we could identify was this one.

We thought the name interesting and fitting.

We also saw several container ships.

This was interesting considering the name.  It is a Chinese Coal Boat loading coal for China.  (Spring Melody)  I’m not sure how fitting that is for a coal ship.

So now we are in the ICW and will continue the blogs from there now.
